 "Vision for Wellness: Uniting for an Integrated Health Screening Program at Small Industrial State Sundar Lahore

Objective:

The purpose of this meeting was to discuss and plan the implementation of an integrated health screening program in collaboration with the Small Industrial Estate Sundar Lahore. The meeting aimed to gather input from the representatives of the Small Industrial Estate and align on the key aspects of the screening program, including logistics, scheduling, and necessary resources.

To start with, A site visit of the Small Industrial Estate Sundar was conducted to assess available space and logistical requirements.

Discussion Points:

  1. Introduction and Welcome: At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Awais Director Sundar Industrial Estate welcomed all attendees and expressed gratitude for their participation. The importance of the integrated health screening program was highlighted, emphasizing its potential benefits for both the employees and the community.
  2. Overview of the Integrated Health Screening Program: Dr. Qasim Mehmood, Provincial Coordinator PTP Punjab provided an overview of the proposed integrated health screening program. The program aims to provide comprehensive health assessments to the employees of the Small Industrial Estate Sundar Lahore, focusing on early detection and prevention of potential health issues. The screening would include various tests and examinations, such as blood pressure measurements, and Hep B & C Testing. Tuberculosis Testing blood tests, vision and hearing assessments, and general health consultations.

  1. Input and Feedback from Small Industrial Estate Sundar Lahore Representatives: The representatives of the Small Industrial Estate were invited to share their thoughts, concerns, and suggestions regarding the implementation of the screening program. The following key points emerged from the discussion: a. Availability of Space: The representatives requested adequate space for setting up the screening facilities, ensuring privacy and convenience for the employees. b. Scheduling and Shifts: It was emphasized that the screening program should accommodate the different shifts and working hours of the employees. Flexibility in scheduling was deemed important to ensure maximum participation. c. Resource Allocation: The Small Industrial Estate representatives highlighted the need for sufficient medical personnel, equipment, and supplies to facilitate the smooth functioning of the screening program.

  1. Collaboration with Deputy Directors and DTC Lahore: The presence of Deputy Directors and representatives from DTC Lahore provided an opportunity for collaboration and coordination. The following agreements were made: a. Support from DTC Lahore: The representatives from DTC Lahore expressed their commitment to providing necessary resources, including medical personnel and equipment, to support the integrated health screening program. b. Coordination with Deputy Directors: The Deputy Directors assured their support in ensuring the smooth execution of the program, including assisting with scheduling, logistics, and communication.

Conclusion:

The meeting served as a productive platform for collaboration and discussion between the Small Industrial Estate Sundar Lahore representatives, PTP representatives, Deputy Directors, and DTC Lahore. The integrated health screening program received positive feedback and support from all stakeholders.
