INTRODUCTION

Pakistan Lions Youth Council is a Prime Minister award-winning non-governmental organization being registered with both Punjab Charity Commission and Government of Pakistan Social Welfare Registration Ordinance 1961 with the objective of conducting meaningful development interventions, which improves the lives and well-being of marginalized and susceptible communities. Since its inception, the organization has taken the initiative to alleviate the root causes of many of the socio-economic problems prevailing in different parts of Pakistan. 

Pakistan Lions Youth Council has the privilege of securing UN Economic and Social Council Consultative Status as well as ISO-9001-2008 and Pakistan Centre of Philanthropy certifications.  PLYC also signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Pakistan's Ministry of Economic Affairs, as part of the government's National Action Plan. Being one of the top national Non-governmental organizations, PLYC is working in Three Provinces of Pakistan including Punjab, KPK/FATA & Sindh with different national and international Donors for the achievement of Sustainable development Goals as signed by the Government of Pakistan.
